On the 21st of December 2024, the TYP family gathered together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas at their annual party. The event was a beautiful blend of worship, feasting, and merriment, filled with love, laughter, and joy.

The festivities began with a soul-stirring worship song, followed by a heartfelt opening prayer by
Reverend Canon Mutasa. His words of blessing and gratitude set the tone for a wonderful day ahead.

As the guests settled in, introductions were made, and the TYP family was delighted to welcome visitors from Christ Ministries Home ,Belvedere and Kuwadzana. The atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement and anticipation.

Meanwhile, the braai and food preparations were underway, filling the air with the savory aromas of delicious cuisine. The TYP sisters in-law (varoora) had outdone themselves, preparing a sumptuous feast that would satisfy everyone’s cravings.

As the clock struck lunchtime, the guests gathered around the tables to indulge in the mouth-watering spread. The room was filled with chatter, laughter, and the clinking of utensils on plates.

After lunch, the family came together to sing Christmas carols, their voices blending in perfect harmony. The festive atmosphere was infectious, spreading joy and cheer to all who participated.

Next, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived – the gift-giving ceremony!! “Mother Christmas,” affectionately known as “Grandma Tumushime,” had brought gifts for the family ,putting huge smiles on their faces.

The afternoon was filled with photo opportunities, as everyone posed for pictures to capture the memories of this special day. As the sun began to set, the family mingled, sharing stories, laughter, and warm conversations.

As the party drew to a close, Pastor Dini from Christ Ministries led the family in a closing prayer, expressing gratitude for the blessings and joy of the day. Reverend Mutasa then bestowed a final blessing upon the gathering, sending everyone off into the evening with full hearts and spirits.

The TYP 2024 Christmas party was a resounding success, a true celebration of love, giving, and community. As the guests departed, they carried with them the warmth and joy of the season, already looking forward to next year’s festivities.
