As Dumisani prepared to leave for the UK,we ,the Tariro family gathered on the eve of his departure. We had Mass and shared our well wishes for his future endeavors.The Celebrant was Rev Canon Mutasa : his moving sermon was centered around the theme of patience. We were reminded that patience is a virtue that allows us to navigate life’s challenges with grace and faith.

As a family we took to the podium to share our thoughts on Dumisani’s departure. With a mix of emotions, we expressed our pride in the young man Dumisani had become and the experiences he had accumulated during his time in the family .We encouraged Dumisani to hold onto the lessons learned and relationships formed, as they would serve as a foundation for his future success.

Grandma Tumushime also shared her remarks, her voice trembling with emotion. She reminisced about the fond memories she had shared with Dumisani, from family gatherings to quiet moments of reflection. She reminded him that no matter where life takes him, he will always have a home and a family that loves him unconditionally.She also emphasized the 3 solid pillars of our foundation as Tariro Family :Hope ,Faith & Love ,to choir practice,to quizzes & various interesting topics such as Ubuntu culture to quiet moments of reflection.

As the mass drew to a close, Dumisani thanked everyone for their love and support, acknowledging that he would carry the memories and lessons from his time in the UK with him always.

Dumisani leaves behind a family that will miss him dearly. However, as a family we take comfort in knowing that he is following his dreams and pursuing new opportunities. The farewell service was a testament to the impact one person can have on the lives of others, and the power of family to come together in celebration and support.

Dumisani, may your future be bright, and may you always walk in patience and faith!!
